Dif3r3nt attaches great importance to your privacy. We process personal data carefully, transparently and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Privacy is built into our design, not added afterwards.

2. What data we process
When you contact us through our request or contact form, we process:
- Name and email address (required);
- Company name and phone number (optional);
- Project type, description and budget indication that you fill in yourself;
- An encrypted (hashed) IP address, solely to prevent abuse and spam.
We do not use tracking technology and do not build profiles.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use your data to respond to your request and to be able to discuss and carry out our services. The legal basis for this is taking (pre-contractual) steps at your request and our legitimate interest in getting in touch with you.
4. Retention period
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Requests that do not lead to cooperation are deleted within a reasonable period.
5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data. We only share data with service providers who help us keep our website and email running (such as our hosting and email provider), and only as far as necessary. Appropriate agreements have been made with these parties and processing takes place within the EU wherever possible.
6. Security
We secure your data according to the principle of security by design and the OWASP guidelines. Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Send a request to info@dif3r3nt.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Automated decision-making
We do not take decisions based on automated processing that have legal consequences for you.
